Note:  KPC rates represent a savings of our standard pet sitting rates.  They are based on a minimum commitment of six weeks with no less than three days per week of service.  Visits last approximately 30 minutes.


(KPC) MID-DAY DOG WALKING FEE POLICIES

  • KPC observes the standard pet sitting policies with the following payment modifications.

  • Payment for the first four weeks of KPC service is to be made at time of Intake Interview.
        Thereafter, payment for services is due upon receipt of monthly billing. Credit for
        cancellations will be applied on the following month’s invoice. Additional service as
        requested or weekend visits will be billed as pet sits and will be billed as well.
     
  • New KPC Customers: We will make our greatest attempts to walk your dog at requested
        times. Noon is a very common request for KPCs. Please be flexible with us and give us at
        least 2 hour window on when we can walk your dog. Conditions such as holidays, traffic
        jams, weather, and difficult sits may cause delays.

  • We request a 24 hour advance cancellation notice, but will accept cancellations no later
        than 8:00 am the day scheduled. Any cancellations after that will continue to be billed.
     

  • Less than three visits will be billed at our standard pet sitting schedule.

    Note:  You will be billed for one pet sit visit based on the number of animals in your household.  Visits last approximately 30 minutes.


    PET SITTING  FEE POLICIES

  • We accept checks, Visa & MasterCard.

  • Checks payable to Fur, Fins, & Feathers. There is a $25.00 fee for a returned check. All
        delinquent invoices over 30 days will be charged a 1.5% finance charge. Invoices 60 days
        will incur administrative costs at $20.00 per hour and/or attorney fees in addition to the
        bill. Payment in full is expected at the time of your Intake Interview on all services.
        Existing clients may pay by Visa/ MC or by mailing payment prior to their departure to
        Fur, Fins, & Feathers at the address above. Your account is credited only when the office
        receives your payment, so please expedite payment by mailing it or calling in your credit
        card information.

  • We request a minimum 24 hour advance cancellation notice.
     
  • All holiday bookings must be made one month prior to Summer Holidays,
        Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's. Otherwise, plan on an increase of 10% to
        the total booking bill.     Cancellations for the holidays are accepted one week prior to
        starting date with no charge. After that, you are charged a $30.00 fee.

  • Intake Interview: A one-time fee of $15.00 is charged for new client sign-ups. The sitter
        meets at the client's home. Client provides two sets of house keys, pet photos,
        vaccination records, and detailed written instructions. Sitter will bring necessary forms
        that need to be fully completed at the interview. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
        Existing clients may schedule a meeting with their sitter, through the office, at the charge
        of $7.50, per meeting.

  • Inclement Weather Policy is important to observe if you need a copy, please call the
        office.

  • Pet Sitter Gratuities are always appreciated.  Please put your generous gift in a seal
        envelope addressed with either your sitter's name or "pet sitter".

  • Keys: There is a charge of $7.50 if you want the sitter to pick-up or return your keys in
        person, and a charge of $5.00 to return your keys by mail. (U.S. mail service charge)

    The rate is 4x a day fee, based on the number of pets in the home.  These are not based on 24 solid hours of care.  More than 8 pets per household will require the owner/manager to determine the appropriate fee.  For additional information call our office.


  • Special rates for Birds: $30.00 for 1 bird and $45.00 for two or more birds
     
  • Pet Transportation:  Pick up and delivery to and from your home to the veterinarian,
        groomer, kennel, etc.  Minimum fee of $18.00 plus $0.35 per mile.  Hourly fee of $20.00.

  • Medication and Shots:  Call the office for your specific needs and fees.
